Canadian Donor’s Guide update – COVID 19

I hope everyone is doing well and doing their part to help everyone get through this public health emergency together.

Having been in the charitable sector for decades -- and now as Publisher of the Canadian Donors Guide -- I understand how the charitable sector can be affected by the potential uncertainty caused by volatile economic circumstances.

I have heard from you how challenging the current environment has been. In other instances, I know some have adopted alternate work arrangements or affected day-to-day operations and responses. The impacts of this public health emergency have touched our customers, suppliers and service providers, and the communities in which we live.

In consideration of our respective positions during this period, Canadian Donors Guide is focusing its efforts to ensure our Guide for 2020-21 is produced and distributed – albeit likely a little later than usual, fulfilling our obligations to those who have graciously committed their advertising resources to the publication.

We would also like to extend the deadline for those whom we are awaiting a response to our offer to advertise to April 20, 2020.

I appreciate your continued presence in the Canadian Donors Guide and will happily answer any questions and concerns you may have. I’m confident we will all get through this interim challenge as Canadians always do – with perseverance, dedication and our undying spirit – it’s what we do.
